Welcome to Silverhill Goldens. We began in 1980 with the purchase of a female golden retriever named Sunny. She introduced us to a whole new world of dogs that can do almost anything. We started in obedience and were hooked by the versatility of the breed. We have also done field work, conformation, therapy work, tracking and agility and have certified four dogs for Wilderness Search and Rescue. We did Golden Retriever Rescue for 20 years, beginning with Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue and most lately with Brazos Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. Currently we share our home with seven golden retrievers.

We look for pedigrees that have sound temperaments, longevity, and good health. We believe strongly that goldens should be able to be multipurpose dogs and have good field ability, along with correct conformation. We appreciate the breeders who strive to breed this type of dog and have entrusted us with the results of years of hard work.

We are currently working a Golden in Search and Rescue, we also have dogs training or showing in conformation, field and obedience. We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America, Bryan-College Station Retriever Club, Austin Golden Retriever Club and the Search Dog Network.

We are located on five acres, near College Station, Texas. We do occasional boarding of Golden Retrievers. The dogs are kept in our home at night and exercised during the day in large runs.
